Bathurst Regional (Chifley Dam), Orange City (Suma Park Dam) and the Fish River Water Scheme (Oberon Dam, serving Lithgow, Wallerawang, Portland and Oberon) all treat to spec at the plant. Most customer concerns are premises-side — hot-water sediment, copper corrosion after frost damage, taste and odour.
Two very different chemistries side by side: granite-belt bores around Bathurst and Oberon run soft, slightly acidic and iron-stained, while Mount Canobolas basalt bores around Orange run hard with manganese. A baseline test tells you which maintenance path your bore needs.
Dominant on rural blocks across the whole Tablelands. Cold winters and modest rainfall mean slow tank turnover and long stagnation — test annually, plus after bushfire ash events on the Blue Mountains fringe and any spring dust storm.
